A variety of the common garden pea, these peas are peeled and split in half.
They do not keep their shapes
in cooking. Best used for
soups and stews.

A ready-made mixture of small beans and lentils, such as red kidney, pinto, great northern, small lima and borlotti beans, red and brown lentils
and split peas.

A ready-made mixture of lentils, pulses and grains, such as brown and red lentils, green and yellow split peas, brown rice, pearl barley and cracked buckwheat.

Have a high protein content and can be preserved by drying. They provide 92 Calories per 100 grams and contain 16% carbohydrates. They are also rich in phosphorus, potassium, and vitamins.

Peas are best used for thickening soups and stews
